I help the givers give back to themselves.
As a society, we desperately need the work of healers & creatives. One problem: our systems are set up to deplete the very healers & creatives we need.
It’s time to find new ways of relating to our work, our relationships, & our bodies so that we can be resourced enough to keep doing our important work without hurting ourselves.

Vicarious trauma is a heavy burden to carry throughout the day. And with your caseload, self-care often feels like a distant fantasy.
Luckily, I can teach you proven body-based techniques to help you release vicarious trauma in under a minute or two. You can use these somatic tools in between sessions, after work, and at any time you need to gather your energy and resources back to yourself.
With these skills, you’ll notice yourself being less stressed, less overwhelmed, and less likely to be irritable throughout the day - making it easier to serve your clients without hurting yourself.

🌸 Anyone whose body is part of their job
When your body is your job, how you relate to your body gets complicated. When your body is your job, you have to be thinking about what you are putting on display- and how others will react.
This can lead to dissociation from how you feel, what you want, and what your boundaries are… leaving you especially vulnerable to body image issues, fatphobia, & disordered eating.
I’m here to help you reconnect with your body so you can partner with it in your career while still relating to it as an individual with love & respect. When you have that kind of connection & relationship with your body, your movement career becomes much more sustainable and long-lived.

I want to help you relate to your beautiful body with love, respect, & dignity. That’s why I will NEVER advise you to diet, exercise, or get medical procedures for the purpose of losing weight. “I loved that you seemed to take the role of walking with us on this journey, rather than having any hierarchical (expert-client) structure. I liked that you didn’t promise any quick fixes, and acknowledged this is something that will evolve over (perhaps) years. I also loved that your energy as an empath and healer came across, even via zoom or YouTube. I personally appreciate the humor, cause damn we need it in this world! Finally I appreciated you connecting us to other voices in this zone, and recognized the importance of community.”

These are the tools that saved me.
As a longtime therapist and coach, I know how hard it is not to take clients’ traumas home with you. I know how cripplingly oppressive the workload can be. And I know how easy it is to punish your body as a means of coping with the stress.
Thank goodness I found dance & movement when I did. It opened up the world of body-based tools to help me process my feelings, notice when I was triggered, & bring myself back to a state of regulation. The more I connected with my body, the more I was able to identify areas where I was living out of alignment with what I truly wanted.
These tools helped me understand where my boundaries were and how to advocate for them. This protected my energy and prevented burnout even while I was holding space for countless clients’ traumatic experiences. I learned to feel good in my body without having to change it. I learned that it was safe to be present in my life and to receive what I wanted.
I want you to have that too. That’s why I do what I do.
